Library Trips and Picks #4

This latest library trip took place 200 miles away on a family vacation. Our state of Alabama has one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and even a few islands.  A favorite is Dauphin Island.

The island has natural beauty as well as an aura of days gone by. You’ll find no glitzy condominiums or huge souvenir shops here.  What you will find is the state sea lab and aquarium, beautiful beaches, a bird sanctuary, good sea food and a well-stocked lending library.  Please enjoy this quick tour of our late-summer excursion.

BONUS BIT: Click here to find more images and information about this special island.

Sounds like a fun trip. You find some of the neatest places. Love the map with all the pins!

Thanks Kim. The wall maps were a big hit. We liked seeing where people were from.
